Verve’s October 2014 Release Celebration – Day 2!!

Welcome back to Verve’s October 2014 Release Celebration! Three new sets, three new dies and a sequin mix just released on Saturday and today we’re back sharing our inspirations with a new set called Pink Power and the new Ribbon Die!

Bald is Beautiful by Jen Shults using Pink Power and Ribbon Die from Verve Stamps

For my card I definitely went PINK! I started with a bright pink card base and layered it with white matted in light pink. I drew a bit of stitching around the edge of the white with a Prismacolor multiliner. The bit of patterned paper is from Doodlebug’s Kraft in Color – Color 6×6 paper pad. I stamped the silhouette from Pink Power on white using black ink to make a cameo and then mounted that on bright pink. The sentiment is stamped on bright pink and die cut with a banner die. I die cut the ribbon twice, once out of light pink and once out of black and mounded them with a bit of foam tape in between. To finish it off I added a little black rhinestone to the i in beautiful.

My layout today is based on this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch:
