TE Release Day: Holiday Florals Christmas
It’s finally here! It’s Taylored Expressions Release Day! I hope you are having a fantastic week so far. Today I have a Christmas card to share with you using the new Initially die products along with Holiday Florals.
As soon as I saw this ampersand die I knew I wanted to try to create a Christmas card with it and this card just FLEW together. I started the card by die cutting the & out of gold glitter paper. If you don’t have glitter paper you could die cut the & from cardstock and heat emboss it with gold embossing powder by stamping Versamark all over the die cut and then sprinkling with embossing powder. It usually takes a couple of coats to fully cover but that is also a very nice effect!
After die cutting the & I stamped the holly and twig stamps from Holiday Florals using Sweet Basil, Cherry Pop and Toffee ink onto Sugar Cube cardstock. I die cut them with their coordinating dies and set them aside. Next I die cut the largest border from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate 2 from Red Pepper cardstock. I cut a rectangle that fit inside the cutting plate from Sweet Basil cardstock and embossed it with the Herringbone Embossing Folder. (I LOVE this embossing folder.) I used foam tape to assemble most of the card, using a bit of liquid adhesive.
All of the new products you’ve seen this week are now available at the TE store!
