It’s Wild Flower Wednesday!!

And this week our challenge is to use Paper Piecing on our projects. This was my first time paper piecing with digis and it worked really nicely! I was so happy. I’m going to make up a tutorial here in a little bit with pictures so you can see.

Now here is my project.

I used Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge for this one because I wanted a nice clean and simple design and her sketches are always FABULOUS. I used Birthday Clown Boxwood for my digi and colored the non-paper pieced sections with Copics. Next I sponged the edges of the white cardstock with Spiced Marmalade and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and rounded all the corners. I added a little ribbon and glued it all down. I still need to add a sentiment and finish the inside but I’ll wait until I decide how I’m going to use it to do that. 😀
