It’s time for Saturday Sketch over at Club Anya and Friends! Recently Jess challenged us to use some of the TGF stamps without coloring… a harder task for me than you might think but as I was out and about yesterday I saw a card by Shaela that really struck my interest and it was my inspiration for this card today. I stamped the image in a mixture of orange Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then stamped the sentiment in black over the image and left the image uncolored. I really like the effect of this and it makes for a quick and simple card that I think is pretty striking and definitely a different look for TGF stamps. I think this would work really well combined with Anna Maria’s masking technique to sponge and stamp the background but still leave the image uncolored… the contrast could be really interesting.
