A Latte Birthday Wishes
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a fun night last night… we had fun with the family. 😀

This is Cocoa Carol, and for today we are going to pretend that’s coffee. 😀
I have a very close friend who is a coffee junkie… well I have a couple actually. But this one, well she REALLY like her coffee so when I saw Carol who actually kind of looks like my friend I know I had to have this image and was going to turn it into a birthday card. 😀
I colored Carol with my Copics and then went to work with this gorgeous paper from BoBunny and My Mind’s Eye. Now I have to admit I struggled a little with the layout. So I ended up with this simpler layout using the Deidrich Dare sketch this week.
So it’s a rather loose interpretation of the sketch but it is what I used as a starting point. 😀
I sponged the heck out of everything, even the paper flower with Walnut Distress Ink, added ribbon, a PTI Vintage button and some Kaiser pearls and I wrote out the sentiment with a Sharpie and there you have it. 😀
Here’s a detail of Carol:
