Birthday Wishes

It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for a bit more Tiddly Inks fun. Today our challenge is to create a birthday wish.

For my card I used Wryn Close To My Heart (she’s one of my most favorite Wryns… maybe my #1 favorite!) and colored her with Copics. Her dress is colored with an overlay technique that I sort of made up. I colored a flat pale green base and then over layed that with grayish blues and a bit of blue-violet for shadows. I sponged everything with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and sanded the edges of the designer paper to give it a slightly aged looks. To finish it off I added the tags from the sketch with a couple of matching buttons. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
