BLD Pool Baby Sam

Our spotlight this week at By Lori Designs is Pool Baby Sam. Isn’t he so sweet? He’s perfect for summer. 🙂 I colored him with Copics and then sponged on clouds and the sandy bottom of the picture. I did this inside the frame of the Nestie’s die so it gave it a bit of a Polaroid look… I just LOVE that. To make the clouds I sponged around and over a cloud die cut and just moved it around a bit and flipped as I sponged to give it a cloudy look. Then I cut a couple more clouds and layered them with foam tape to add a bit of dimension. I put on a bit of Glossy Accents over the water but I got a little to close to it with my heat tool when I was trying to speed the drying time and it bubbled a bit. I used papers from Echo Parks Splash paper pad (SOOO cute!). And that’s it. This went together pretty quick and easy. 🙂
