By Lori Designs Release Blog Hop!!

It’s time for the April Release at By Lori Designs and I KNOW you are going to love these new gorgeous images from Lori Boyd! They are all ADORABLE!!

 

For my card I used Puddle Jumper Shelby and colored her with Prismacolors and OMS. I cut her out using a Classic Oval Large Nestabilities die and bordered her with a Scalloped Oval Large Nestabilities Die. While the image was still in the die I outlined the frame with a black Multiliner to add a little border. To create the background I cut a 4 7/8″ white square and embossed it with a 5×7″ Cuttlebug Polka Dots folder and bordered it with another layer of white and a layer of green. I cut a 2.75″ by 4 7/8″ strip of Olivia (Basic Grey) designer paper and debossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder and then bordered it with green and black punched with a EK Arch Scallops edge punch. To create the embellishments I cut a heart using Verve’s Jotted Heart die out of more Olivia paper and then traced the heart die onto black paper to cut the border. For the sentiment I used Verve’s Charming Ovals dies and a Stampendous sentiment stamped on white  using Memento Tuxedo Black and bordered in black. I created a double bow using my Bow Easy and attached it with Zots glue dots.

I used this week’s Color Q Challenge for my color scheme!
