Welcome to the CardMaker and Spellbinders blog hop! If you are just starting the hop you’ll want to head over to the CardMaker blog to find the full hop list and details (and PRIZES!!)!
For my card I’m using dies from Spellbinders September Large Die of the Month die set. To start I sponged Cherry Pop, Candy Corn and Lemon Meringue ink onto white cardstock and die cut it with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I die cut two of the small flourishes from the die set out of Chocolate Truffle cardstock. I die cut Thanks Script from gold foil cardstock (x1) and from Chocolate Truffle cardstock (x2). I layered these together to give the word dimension.
To finish up I mounted the cardfront on a white cardbase and added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew.
The next stop on the hop is Claire Prezzia’s amazing blog! Be sure to also head over to the Spellbinders blog to check out the AMAZING prize you could win for participating in the hop!

Love the vibrant background.
Good evening Jen, this is my first visit to your site. Your card is lovely. May I ask how you achieved the perfect gold outline for your sentiment ‘thanks’. I read that you die cut the gold foil and the dark cardstock. Did you use two different dies, one larger than the other? I usually can only achieve a shadow effect with the same size die, yet you have gold all the way around.
The warm tones of the background really set off that ornate die cut and the sentiment. So elegant and old-world!
Beautiful card. I really like the background you made with the die cuts.
Beautiful and elegant, gorgeous inking!
I love the way you sponged the card and the colors you used.
