Hi everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic Friday. Today is the CardMaker and Project Bin Blog Hop!
My card for the hop uses Luke 2 from Project Bin. I wanted this gorgeous sentiment to be the star of the card so I started with a simple gradient background made by sponging red and pink ink on white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock using Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment and matted it with green cardstock. I layered these two pieces with foam tape for dimension. To assemble my card I tied twine around the gradient panel and adhered it to a white cardbase. From there I attached the sentiment piece with foam tape and added a few clear drops of Nuvo Crystals.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Luke 2 (Project Bin)
Ink: Cherry Pop, Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake (Taylored Expressions) Versamark
Paper: Sugar Cube, Granny Smith, Oreo (Taylored Expressions)
Other: Sentiment Stacker 2 die (Taylored Expressions), white embossing powder, Ink Blending Tools and Foam (Ranger), Nuvo Crystal Drops, foam tape, liquid adhesive, twine thread
The next stop on the hop is Barb Diechi! If you are just starting you can head to the CardMaker blog for the full list!

Jen, I must say – you have managed to tie the most gorgeous bow ever! WOW! That’s some skill! And doing it with hemp is amazing. Now about your card… it is beautiful! The color scheme is awesome and that bold sentiment in white on black makes the card even better!
Jen–this card is so darn cute. Love the colors you picked!
