Club Anya Saturday Sketch

Hey everyone! I’m just popping into to share a card I made for this week’s Club Anya and Friend’s Saturday Sketch. I used the Because of You stamp set and stamped the sentiment in Walnut Stain Distress ink onto white cardstock and then left it in the die to sponge the inside edge. I used a Blossom Nestabilitie die to border it in dark brown cardstock. I used October Afternoon’s Fly a Kite cardstock that I also sponged with Walnut Stain. I created a flower using the two smallest dies from the Blossom set, sponged them with Walnut Stain and stacked them and added a button. I tied on a little baker’s twine and a couple more buttons and I was finished. This one was quick and easy!

Alright, I’m out of here. If you need me I’m at home reading The Hunger Games… I’m thoroughly entrenched in that book and could barely wrench myself away to make this card. This is why I’m not allowed to read books anymore… I can’t put them down once I get started, lol. Have a GREAT weekend!!!
