Dad Bod and other punny goodness
Taylored Expressions Father’s Day release is here and it’s bringing all the Father’s Day sass and puns you can handle!
My first set of cards features the new Dad Bod Stamp & Die Combo (it’s the FUNNIEST). This set included a clear stamp set and a tshirt die. The cute little sayings for the front of the shirts are FANTASTIC. My husband was cracking up. I also use the new Denim Background stamp for the background of my card. To get started I die cut the tshirts out of Olive cardstock, stamped the sentiments with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then inked the edges of the shirts with Olive ink. I stamped an A2 piece of Gumball cardstock with the Denim Background using Blueberry ink to get the perfect denim look and then cut the panel in half and distressed the edges of both pieces. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Avocado cardstock using Oreo ink. For the background I die cut a toffee panel with Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets and distressed the edges and inked with Toffee ink. I assembled everything and added a bit of twine. I love the distressed look for dad/masculine cards!

My second card features Reely Great and Just Keep Swimming – these two sets are so adorable and meant for each other. I started by stenciling Just Keep Swimming on Sugar Cube with Sprinkles, Honey and Granny Smith ink. I then die cut the panel with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I added a few fish from Little Bits Fish die cut from Mint Julep cardstock. The fishing pole was stamped on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and die cut with the coordinating die. I had a few strips of Blue Raspberry cardstock sitting on my desk that were perfect to stamp the sentiment on. On the inside of the card I added a sentiment and a few more Mint Julep fish.
