Deconstructed Sketch No. 11

It’s Thursday and that means it’s time for a new Deconstructed Sketch! I’m currently in Chicago having tons of fun at CHA! It’s been a hoot meeting so many new people and seeing all the fun new things coming out very soon.

I hope you are having a great week and are ready for a brand new sketch!

I also wanted to let you know I made a Facebook Page for The Deconstructed Sketch if any of you like to follow things on Facebook. I’ll be posting sketches there and samples. 🙂

I, as always, wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who played last week. Your creations are so inspiring and it’s wonderful to see what creativity can be sparked with a simple sketch!

My Sample

Rock My World by Jen Shults

I am so excited about my sample this week. I used a fun image from Tiddly Inks called Geekatude. He’s SUPER adorable and so fun to color. I colored him with Copics and then dug out some Basic Grey Basics Manilla 6×6 paper pad as well as some Tim Holtz Lost and Found paper and got to work!

Deconstructed Guidelines

If you’d like to join us this week all you need to do is create a project using the above sketch as inspiration. There are no specific image requirements for this challenge. Upload your project to your blog or to an online gallery and link it back here to Inlinkz by Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 8 pm CST. We are playing just for fun this week!
