Deconstructed Sketch No. 15

Happy Thursday everyone! I don’t know about you all but we are right in the midst of back to school craziness. I started back with students yesterday after a wonderful summer off and my daughter started the second grade! She’s very excited about school and about her new teacher. It’s going to be a busy and exciting year!

I have a really quick note about our Tickled Pink prize winner. I still haven’t heard from Margo S. Margo if you are out there I need to hear from you today or I’ll be picking a new winner tomorrow. 🙂

Deconstructed Sketch 15:

Alright here we go with this week’s sketch, I hope you like it!

My Sample

I’ve combined a couple of challenges with my card. This week’s Flutterby Wednesday challenge is to use punches with your butterfly, angel or fairy and this week’s Tiddly Inks challenge is to create a small card for a child.

I colored Lili Claire Party Time with Copics to match this My Mind’s Eye Stella and Rose paper. I die cut the image with a Spellbinders Deckle Rectangle die and sponged the inside with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. I used a EK Success Pointed Flower edger punch and a Martha Stewart butterfly punch. I sponged the light pink designer paper with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and the tag with Worn Lipstick… I’m giving my Vintage Photo a break for a while… lol. Branching out… it’s good for me. 🙂 The bow was made from crinkled white seam binding.

Now let’s see what the design team had to say about it…
