Deconstructed Sketch No. 53
It’s time for new Deconstructed Sketch! This week is unsponsored so please play along just for fun this week!
Here’s our sketch:
For my card I broke out a couple of Paper Smooches stamps that I am just in love with right now (actually all of their stamps if I’m being really honest). The rose is from Pretty Mama and the sentiment is from Circle of Honor. I stamped the rose on Taylored Expressions Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copics. This picture is really not a great one of the Copics, my camera has a hard time processing red for whatever reason. The shadows in real life are much smoother and a bit deeper. The designer paper I used is Simple Stories Summer Fresh.
I went a little nuts with the distressing and grunging on this one. It’s subtle but everywhere, lol. I used Tim Holtz Bitty Grunge stamps, Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a Prima Distressing Tool. I like it but I’m not sure if it’s too much.
Here is our FABULOUS guest designer, Judy Rozema’s, project. Isn’t if fabulous! LOVE all that texture!
