Experimenting with Daisy
Hey everyone! I’m happy to say that our tango with strep has come to a tentative end… unless the little man picks it up but for now, everyone is feeling good! 😀
Today I’ve got a card using Daisy Puddle Jumper from Lori Boyd’s gorgeous collection available from Claudia and Co at Die Cuts R Us. I did a bit of experimenting with this card. First it’s my first ever circle card! I used my son’s Lightening McQueen cereal bowl as a template and hand cut the circle, lol.
So where did the rest of the experimenting come in… well, I used a lot of brand new supplies that i haven’t used before to make this card. I sponged the edge to create the scallops with Peeled Paint TH Distress Ink and used a plastic template I had as a mask. I also used my new Spellbinders In Spades pendant behind the image (thanks Betty!!) and I picked up some TH Distress Stickles yesterday and used them on the flowers. All in all this card is full of new things I’ve not tried before, lol.
Here’s a close up of Miss Daisy.
I’m entering this in a couple of challenges… Simon Says Stamp Doodle challenge (the stitching) and Cute Card Thursday Dimension (all the layers, the pearls and the flowers), Fab n’ Funky distressing (everything, lol),
Be sure to check back next week for the next Claudia and Co release… you are going to LOVE these new stamps that Lori has designed for us!!
