Farm Fresh Friday: You Move Me

Happy Friday everyone! I hope this week has treated you well and you are ready to move into the weekend. 😀 I know I’m ready for some time off. This week has been a bit hard for me. I tweaked my back right below my ribs on Monday and I haven’t slept well since. The last few days it hasn’t bothered me except when sleeping and it’s been really rough trying to find a position where I can breath and sleep at the same time, lol. I may be heading off to the doctor tomorrow if tonight is a repeat performance. 🙁 But otherwise it’s been a great week and I am sooo happy with my card for today.

Our Farm Fresh Friday challenge today is from Melyssa and she wants us to make a card that has movement. At first I was all set to make a shaker card with this image as I’ve never made one before but I printed this a bit to large for the Nestabilities frames I wanted to use so I switched gears and made a pull out tag.

For my card I used Laurie Daydreaming by Marina Neira. This stamp is my absolute favorite critter image. It’s just adorable. I printed Laurie on PTI white cardstock and colored her with Prismacolors and OMS. I cut her out and rounded the corners then got to work building the background. I used three different patterns from the My Mind’s Eye Mary Mary Quite Contrary set and embossed them with Cuttlebug folders. I slipped in a border punch from Martha Stewart. The flowers are made from a Cuttlebug flower die, a Quickcuts swirl die, a Martha Stewart Rose Leaf punch and a Prima rose. I added a bit of sparkle to the flowers with a bit of Diamond Stickles. Whew!

Here’s a closer look at the coloring:

If you’d like to participate with us this week create a card using any Greeting Farm Stamp that has a mobile component (shaker, spinner, pull out tag, etc.) and upload it to the Greeting Farm Gallery. You can get full details at the Greeting Farm Blog.
