Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you are having a great day. I’m on Spring Break this week and am getting caught up on some much needed crafty time!
Today I have two project to share with you from the Taylored Expressions Flit & Flutter collection. This new Create in Quads stencil and accessories is so fun and GORGEOUS!!
Along with the new Create in Quads stencil there are also some gorgeous ink bundles if you are looking to round out your ink pad collection. I used the Breezy ink bundle on both of my projects today!
To make my card I started by inking the Flit & Flutter Create in Quads stencil on Sugar Cube with the Breezy TE Premium Ink Bundle using Bitty Blender Brushes for some gentle gradients. After inking I die cut the pieces using the Flit & Flutter dies. Next I used the Set the Scene Stencil Strips – Grass and Set the Scene Stencil Strips – Clouds to create a background with Peapod and Salt Water Taffy inks. The sentiments are from Mini Strips Hello Add-ons stamped on Toffee cardstock.
My second card uses the Flit & Flutter Create in Quads along with the Flit & Flutter Cutting Plate. This allowed me to cut out all of the birds on the large panel for use in a different arrangement. I started this card by stamping the Weathered Words background stamp tone on tone with Spearmint cardstock and ink. Then I ink blended Sour Gummy ink across a panel of Sugar Cube and attached a Poppy Seed frame cut with Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate.
