Flutterby Birthday Sketch
Hey all! It’s Flutterby Wednesday! It’s an open challenge today which means you can do anything you want as long as you use a fairy, angel or butterfly in your projects! Danni has also provided and optional sketch if you are interested in using it today. 😀 My interpretation of the sketch isn’t quite that literal… I changed the squares a bit just because my center panel was so huge. 😀
And here’s my card. I used Birthday Fairy Lee from Mo’s Digital Pencil for my card. She’s soooo stinking cute, I just couldn’t resist coloring her up. I used Prismacolors and a bit of OMS to shade her in.
I used a bit of paper from the My Mind’s Eye Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink paper pack and a bit of ribbon lace, a Tim Holtz sentiment ticket and I finally FINALLY conquered the rolled flower, lol. After, ahem, 8 tries. Last night. Really. I was whining about it on Facebook, lol.
I added a bit of subtle glitter to her wings and her tutu. It didn’t photograph all that well but you can see it in person. 😀
If you’d like to participate this week you can get the full details at the Flutterby Wednesday Blog and be sure to hop around and check out what the rest of the FABULOUSLY AWESOME design team has created!
