Flutterby Holly Fairy/Mo’s DT Call

Hey all. It’s Flutterby Wednesday time!!! This week we have an open challenge so all you need to do is create anything you like that uses a fairy, butterfly or angel. Easy right!

I’m also making this card for Mo’s Dream Team design team call. I’ve been a huge fan of Mo’s images for FOREVER and I just love EVERY thing she makes. So I thought I’d throw my hat in the ring. 😀 We were to pick our favorite of Mo’s images and I just happened to pick my very first image from Mo, Christmas Fairy Holly. 😀

I colored Holly with Prismacolors and OMS on Papertrey Ink white cardstock. The background is Bazzill cardstock stamped with Tim Holtz Alterations Bitty Grunge Distress Stamps.

To accent this gorgeous stamp from Mo I stamped some snowflakes using TH Distress Inks and sponged the edges. I added a bit of grunge stamping too. The snowflakes are Martha Stewart and are sponged with distress inks. I added a bit of glitter with Frosted Lace Stickles. I love those! They add just a bit of sparkle but keep the vintage look. Inside the stamp I outlined a bit with a Stardust pen from Sakura.
