Flutterby Inspiration Challenge

Hey all! It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for Flutterby Wednesday and this week our challenge is an inspiration challenge chosen by Danni.

For this week’s challenge I used an image from Wax Fruit Company by Arielle Gordon called Framed Marigolds. It’s printed on PTI Stampers Select White and colored with Prismacolors and a bit of OMS. I used a sketch from Viva La Verve March sketch 1.

I used paper from October Afternoon’s Thriftshop and cut it to match the sketch. I didn’t use any dies this time and I hand cut the image to match the deckle that was already drawn out. I sponged the edges of all the paper with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and embossed the papers with various Cuttlebug embossing folders (eeeek, I don’t remember the names). I use two Martha Stewart butterfly punches and a bit of twine and a button.
