Flutterby Wednesday 168

Ack!!! I am having WordPress issues. My post didn’t start when it was supposed to. 🙁 I’m sad because WordPress never fails me… it’s so reliable… so I’m wondering if it’s operator error in the form of being really really really tired. 😉

This week we are sponsored by the wonderfully talented Victoria Case. She drew this gorgeous image just for Danni and Danni wonderfully shared it with us. I printed her out on linen cardstock and colored her with Prismacolors and OMS. I’m a little rusty with my pencils as I’ve been hitting the Copics pretty hard core lately but I really like the way it turned out and I was so happy to see that the texture of the paper didn’t seem to hinder the pencils at all. I colored her to match My Mind’s Eye’s Lime Twist Life of the Party paper and used a Verve’s new Make a Statement set for the sentiment and flowers. I added tons of dimmensionals and a bit of doodling and sparkle here and there.

My layout is from this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch 131. (I altered it just a tad.)
