Flutterby Wednesday – Get Scrappy

It’s Flutterby Wednesday and our task today is to use scraps. I took this WAY more literally than I think Danni was meaning but hey, who’s gonna complain?

I made 4 cards today and started with scrap kraft cardstock. I generally use PTI’s 8.5″x11″ kraft cardstock and I like square cards so I always have a big stash of long thing strips left over. I grabbed a bunch of those and my Spellbinders Butterflies and got going. My first idea was to cut the butterfly shaped whole out of the kraft and back it with some scrap designer paper I had sitting on my kraft desk so that is what I have here for my first two. I added a bit of doodling and left them very simple.

For my second two I got to looking at the scraps that were left from the first two and decided to make a couple of cards using only the left over kraft cardstock. I cut a couple of pieces to layer and then popped the butterflies left over from the first up on dimmensionals and paper pierced around the edges. DONE! Quick and easy. 🙂

This last one is my fave of the whole lot of them!
