Flutterby Wednesday – Recipe Challenge
It’s Wednesday and that means it’s Flutterby Wednesday. 🙂 We’ve got a fun recipe challenge today… it’s a 3-2-1 challenge. THREE flowers, TWO patterned papers and ONE button along with a butterfly, fairy or angel for today’s challenge!
To keep it interesting I added another challenge to this mix, lol. I used this month’s SFYTT sketch along with this gorgeous Unity Dream Big Itty Bitty. To get started I stamped the butterflies from the Dream Big Itty Bitty set in Vintage Linen Distress Ink onto white cardstock and then stamped the sentiment Dream Big over it in Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I inked the edges with Vintage Linen and Tea Dye Distress Ink and then mounted it on a Bitter Chocolate cardstock border. I created the layout using my favorite Basic Grey designer paper… Hopscotch and added a few paper flowers to the bottom. To cover the Flutterby challenge I added a button to the center of one of the flowers and clear Dew Drops to the other ones. I sponged all the papers with Tea Dye before glueing everything together!
If you’d like to join us this week at Flutterby you can get all the information here and if you’d like to join in on this month’s April Sketch For You to Try you can grab all the details at Jen’s blog. I’ve had such a great time being the guest designer this month and I may just squeeze in one more card with this fantastic sketch before the month is over! Have a great Wednesday!!
