Graceful Ferns card kit
Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well today. Taylored Expressions is releasing a new card kit today called Graceful Ferns. This card kit features everything you need to make quick sympathy cards. Today I’m sharing a bunch of cards that I made (and I’ll have more tomorrow – I got a little carried away with the gel press).
First up is a card that I made using the gel printing kit and TE inks. I created a couple of quick panels that I die cut the stems from the kit like you would with patterned paper. I used Cookie Monster, Blue Raspberry and Poblano Pepper ink to ink up the plate. I used the leave stamps in the kit to remove and move ink and create the leaves on the plate.

My second project is actually a set of mini slim cards created using the gel printing kit again. I used a variety of stencils, ink, and stamps to create the backgrounds. I also add the die cuts to the gel press as I was printing to lift off ink where the die cuts were. This leaves a subtle impression of the die cut.
After gel printing I die cut the backgrounds with the Mini Slim Rectangle Stacklets and inked the edges with coordinating ink. I splatter gold watercolor on the cards and added leaf cuts and a sentiment. These came together VERY quickly and now I have a good stash of cards when I need them (hopefully I won’t!).

PLEASE NOTE:
The vast majority of the individual items included in our cardmaking kits will not be available to purchase individually in the future. While we may, on rare occasions, release a kit item into our regular inventory at a later time, this will no longer be an option for the majority of the products. Instead, they will remain exclusive to the kits and may only be purchased as part of a kit while supplies last.
Since our curated cardmaking kits can sell out quickly, we encourage you to purchase the kits you love when they are released, as they will not be restocked once they have sold out. We intend to release a kit the last Tuesday of each month at 9am (Central), and a sneak preview will be posted on the TE Blog on the Saturday prior to the release.
