Hanging Out With You

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a quick little clean and simple card I made today using Taylored Expressions November Stamp of the Month, In The Garden. This adorable little stamp set was really calling to me to go for something clean and simple. I struggle with CAS a bit. I’m much better at rustic and simple than I am clean and simple but I’m hoping I pulled this one off.

I started with an A2 cardbase from Choice Kraft Cardstock and I rounded the bottom right corner. I then cut a 3.75″ x 2.5 piece of white then I cut a matte for it using paper from Simple Stories Vintage Bliss. I rounded both bottom right corners and set the matte aside. I stamped the lanterns in Memento Espresso Truffle and stamped it again four more times on patterned paper. I cut the patterned paper lanterns out and fixed them to the white popping one up on foam tape. I stamped the sentiment also in Espresso Truffle, added the twine bow and the little Doodlebug Sprinkles and I was done!

***Jen’s Tip: to get twine to stay there you want it put a very small glue dot on your cardbase where you want the bow. As you tie the bow use the glue dot to hold the twine in place and it won’t show behind the bow once it’s complete. 🙂
