Happy 1/2 Birthday TE!!
Good morning! I hope you are having a great week so far. Today I have two cards to share with you using some adorable new products from Taylored Expressions 1/2 Birthday release!
This week we have a new addition to the super popular Create in Quads collection – The Create in Quads Birthday Layering Stencils. The new set of stencils brings some fun new options when using the Create in Quads Stencils. You have two backgrounds and two large focal images that can be used with the backgrounds or alone and there are companion dies to go along with the large focal images!
For my cards, I stenciled the whole panel using Candy Corn, Pineapple, and Lollipop ink. Be sure to add a little Pixie Spray to the stencil so it doesn’t move on you! After stenciling, I die cut the hat and presents with their matching dies and I trimmed the background panels with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I layer these on a mat cut using Petite Scallop Rectangles and added an Oreo border from the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate (I love that die!) . The sentiments are from It’s Your Day and were heat embossed on Oreo cardstock. I popped everything up on foam tape and added a little bit of Nuvo glitter drops and Bits & Pieces Rainbow Rhinestones.
