Happy Birthday!

Happy 14th Birthday by Jen Shults, handmade card

Happy Friday!!

Today I’m sharing a card I made for my niece’s 14th birthday which is today! She just happens to be one of my favorite people and is a really great kid so I wanted to make sure she had an extra special birthday card.

I started my card with an A2 Sugar Cube cardbase and then layered it with a piece of Granny Smith cardstock. Over that I layered a piece of Jelly Donut cardstock with a chevron patterned paper from Double the Fun 6×6 Paper Pack. I then pulled out the Cherish Every Moment stamp set and colored the flowers in bright bold colors. I fussy cut these out and attached them with foam tape to a piece of Lollipop cardstock. I die cut the number 14 using the Poster Graphic #’s die and attached those to the Lollipop strip as well. I finished off by stamping Happy Birthday to the pattern paper piece and then adhered the Lollipop panel. I added a few Double the Fun Sequins and Tiny Twinkles for a bit of fun sparkle and I was done!
