Happy Birthday Fisherman

Argh, it’s been an exciting 24 hours at our house. My husband was in a pretty bad car accident last night. He’s okay and only was a minor injury to his hand but his car did not fair as well. 🙁 Some one rear ended him when he was stopped on the highway due to rush hour traffic being stopped. He was hit pretty hard and pushed into the car in front of him. Sadly, I don’t think his beloved car is going to make it. Thankfully his car has plenty of air bags and he was wearing his seat belt so he walked away just fine. So as my PSA for the day… please remember to wear your seat belt.

Now onto my card for the day. This is a birthday card I made for my father in law this weekend. I used a gorgeous image from Mo’s Digital Pencil called Fishing. I absolutely adore Mo’s illustrations. They are just gorgeous and so fun to color and have a bit of a traditional card feel to them. Also, Mo has FABULOUS images for masculine cards. I just LOVE them.

I colored this using Copics. I colored it awhile ago so I don’t have the Copic numbers written down. 🙁 They designer paper is from Kaisercrafts and I added a bit of distress stamping with the Bitty Grunge stamps from Tim Holtz.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!!
