The first project I have to share with you uses the Pixie Dust 6×6 Background Stamp and New Year Cheer Stamp & Die Combo paired with the Birthday Balloon Stencil and Die Combo that you may already have in your collection.
I started off by stamping the Pixie Dust background stamp on Black Licorice cardstock and heat embossing with silver embossing powder. Next I stenciled three balloons using Passion Fruit, Strawberry Milkshake and Dried Fig ink. I die cut the balloons with the coordinating dies and added twine strings. The sentiment was stamped on Sugar Cube with Versafine Clair – Nocturne ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
My second card features Big Grumpy with some new foil its – Snarky New Year Insiders. I started by stamping Big Grumpy on Sugar Cube – I split the image and extended the sign using my MISTI. I then foiled and cut out the sentiment and attached it to the sign. Big Grumpy was colored with OLO markers. The background was inked with Lime Zest, Mango and Bubblegum ink then stamped with Twinkle Lights Background Stamp and heat embossed in gold embossing powder. I added a little strip of Poppy Seed at the bottom for accent.
