Have a Blast

Have a Blast by Jen Shults, stamps from My Favorite Things

This past week I had the amazing opportunity to spend 4 days crafting and card making with a fabulous group of creative inspiring women. During that time I made a few cards just for fun, a rare thing for me this time of year! One of the first cards I made was with this adorable set from My Favorite Things, BB Space Explorer. I used the coordinating dies as well. To make the planet I die cut a large circle and colored it with Copics – I just looked up planet on Google Images and used that as a reference for how to color it. To create the background I sponged Faded Jeans, Black Soot, Seedless  Preserves and Mermaid Lagoon on Taylored Expressions Watercolor Paper and flicked it with water and blotted it with a paper towel. I die cut that background, stars and sentiment with dies from Die-namics Blueprints 18 and Blue Prints 22
