i {heart} you

I’ve got a super quick and easy card to share with you today. I made this for a friend, who I really hope is not paying attention to my blog today. She’s been a great support, help and generally awesome friend and I’m so so glad to have her around.

To make this card I started with an A2 kraft cardbase. I rounded the top right corner. I layered that with another piece of kraft cardstock stamped with the paisleys and circles/flowers from Taylored Expressions Tweet Hearts. I sponged the edges with Ranger’s Vintage Photo Distress Ink added a bit of red ribbon and twine thread and a crochet flower I bought on Etsy. I stamped the sentiment from Tweet Hearts on kraft cardstock using Vintage Photo ink and hand cut a little tiny banner and that was it… a little foam tape to separate the layers and it was done!
