It’s That Time of Year

That’s right, “that” time of year. You know what I’m talking about… It’s UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER time of year!!!

Marie and Jess are just WILD about ugly sweaters 😉 so they have thrown down the gauntlet for us to create our OWN ugly Christmas sweater card. Find that special sweater that calls to you and create a card using that as your inspiration. The GAUDIER, the BOLDER, the more BEDAZZLED the better!!

So without further talk… I’ll just let my card and this lovely sweater speak for themselves. Here is my inspiration:

I just happened to have pulled this Echo Park Wintertime paper out of my mailbox and it was PERFECT for this sweater and this challenge. Not that it’s gaudy, it just had big bold prints that worked well for this. 😀 I pulled out my ric-rac punch and went a little crazy and then I blinged everything up with Diamond Stickles and rhinestones. Then I started digging through my button stash and found a fabulous package of FLOCKED Christmas buttons (wonder what on Earth I was thinking when I bought those) and of course, little tiny jingle bells. Voila!
