Let’s Play!

It’s time for another Pixie Dust Studio Challenge! I’m running a little late on this as I’ve been swamped with work and softball (not me, my 7 year old). Our challenge this week is to create a card based on our favorite sport or game. Well I went a little outside the box on this and I hope you can get was I was going for. 🙂

For my card I used Meadow Princess and colored her with Copics on PTI white cardstock. I KNOW!!! Copics!!! I’m going to try to use my massively neglected Copics more… it would be a shame to ignore that investment. 😉 I chose this image because my daughter is a dancer and one of her recital costumes looked very very similar to this girl. Not to mention she’s ADORABLE!! I used My Mind’s Eye Quite Contrary paper. I’m so sad because this was the end of my stash and I LOVE this paper. I sponged everything with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, rounded a few corners and punched an edge to get started. I followed all that up with some paper flowers from Recollections that I colored with Copics to match my image and a few punched leaves from Martha Stewart. Lastly I added a bit of paper piercing and I’m done!

If you’d like to join us this week you can hop over to the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge Blog to get the full details!
