Life is Good – Flutterby Wednesday

It’s Flutterby Wednesday today and it’s an open challenge so all you need to do is create anything you like the has a fairy, butterfly or angel. Easy-peasy yes? On my card I used the new Verve Life is Good Plain Jane and I combined a couple challenges for this one. I used the Viva La Verve July Week 3 sketch and the July Diva Dare from Verve which is to focus on the paper (LOL, it’s a Verve day!).

I used some paper that I’ve had forEVER on my card. It’s by We R Memory Keepers and I have always loved it so much but I hadn’t found the right card to use it on until this one. 🙂 I stamped the sentiment in Vintage Photo Distress Ink and the cut it out using a Spellbinders die. I left the paper in the die and then sponged the edges with more Vintage Photo and I built up the ink around the edges to deepen the color. I sponged Vintage photo on the rest of the papers and the flowers and that’s about it. This card went together so easy for me which is a rare and wonderful thing. 🙂
