Life is Good

I’ve been needing a little bit of bright and sunny around my neck of the woods this last week. So as I was looking through my Dirty Dozen cards to see if I had any left to post (and I discovered I had a LOT left to post, lol) I found this bright sunny creation using Verve’s Plain Jane Life is Good.

Life is Good by Jen Shults for Splitcoaststampers

This card started out on a bright yellow-orange card base that I layered with red-orange cardstock and then layered again with a piece of white embossed with Tim Holtz Texture Fades Rays embossing folder. Over that I layered coordinating cardstock and ribbon. I stamped the Life is Good sentiment on white cardstock, die cut and embossed it with a Spellbinders Oval and sponged the inside with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink.  I added a little orange mini rose to finish it off.

This was a fun and quick one to put together and I love that I was able to use up some ribbon and paper scraps. 🙂
