Little Dreamer

Today I’ve got a card to share from this week’s Saturday Sketch over at Club Anya and Friends. I hope you like the sketch for today, I’ve added some elements that I don’t typically uses and I have to confess I may have cheated a bit. I put stitching on the sketch hoping I could bring myself to actually stitch on a card but I opted to use Liquid Pearls instead. I know, I know, I really need to get over my sewing machine phobia, lol. I love the way the stitches look but I just can’t do it. Here’s the sketch:

For my card I used Amelia from the Little Dreamers set and I colored her in black and white on kraft cardstock. I posted a tutorial on how to color this image a few days ago. You can find the tutorial here. I wanted to keep the image the focal point as much as possible so I opted not to use designer paper and just used a coral cardstock with kraft and white. I cut the image out with my Nesties and added a Tim Hotlz paper clip. The flowers were a RAK from Lelia a while ago. I’ve been hoarding them but they just fit perfectly with this image so I had to use them.
