Love is in the Air
Hi everyone! Today is the final day of Taylored Expressions January release week! I have two projects to share with you today.
My first card uses the new Flip the Script – Love Stamp & Die Combo along with some of my other favorites! To begin my card I stamped the hot air balloon on Fruit Punch cardstock with Sugar Cube ink and heat set the ink. Next I die cut with the included die. For the background I blending Salt Water Taffy ink on Sugar Cube cardstock using Set the Scene – Cloud Stencil Strips and TE’s Blender Brushes. I die cut these with Tag Stacklets 2 and layered the tags together slightly offset. I cut a rectangle of Toffee cardstock and blended Toffee ink on over the Lots of Love Stencil. I layered all of this together and added a few hearts, little banner tails and a bow at the top. This was really a pretty quick card to put together!

My second card is a super clean and simple card using the new Hexagon Masking Stencil and Shot Through the Heart dies. I started by trimming a piece of Sugar Cube and attaching it to the Hexagon Stencil. I blended on Mushroom ink very lightly with a blender brush. I then added the Feathered Stencil over the top and blended on Cookie Monster ink with a blender brush. Under the hexagon I stamped the word there from Follow Your Heart Sentiments. I die cut hello from Shot Through the Heart and added it over the bottom of the stenciled hexagons. To finish up I popped the panel up on a Sugar Cube base and added a few NUVO Crystal Drops in clear.
