Love Monsters Valentines

Whew, I’m posting kinda late tonight but I just had to share these little Valentines I’ve been working on. I’m trying to add to the stash of cards for my daughter to take with her to school for her Valentine’s party. This time I used Love Monsters from Taylored Expressions along with the Scalloped Notecard die. These came together so quick and were super fun to make!

I started out stamping the images in Colorbox Frost White ink and then embossing them with white detail embossing powder from Stampendous. I then colored the images with Copics. It’s a bit tricky to color with Copics on Kraft cardstock but it worked out after a little practice. I used my black Copic to add a bit of black here and there on the images if they needed it. I think die cut them and matted them with Spellbinders circles and scalloped circles. I cut the scalloped circle from Taylored Felt. Behind the circles I embossed a small piece of cardstock and attached everything together with foam tape between the layers and finished it off with a little felt heart using the Cupid’s Arrows Dies.
