Meant to Bee
Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a wonderful day today. I head back to work tomorrow and will have a new set of students to start second semester. I’m excited for a new start to the second half of the school year! This week we have a fun Valentine’s release for you at Taylored Expressions. I have three projects to share with you today using new and old products. First up are some previously released kit items with some new additions to go along with them!
On my first card I used The Bee’s Knees Stamp & Stencil Combo with the new Sweet as Can Bee stamp set and coordinating dies. I started by inking a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock with Cookie Monster and Peapod ink to create a sky and ground. I then stamped the branch from the Sweet as Can Bee set to create a tree with a bee hive. I added the bees from The Bee’s Knees and some hearts cut from the Sweet as Can Bee die set.

My second card features candy hears – I LOVE these! The Conversation Candy Stamp & Stencil combo coordinate with the Conversation Candy Cutting Plate to make a ton easy to use conversation hearts. To make my card I layered the conversations hearts with a dark and light version to mimic the 3-d look of the edible conversation candies. I aligned these on Black Licorice Cardstock and added some coordinating stripes behind with Easy Strips 1/4”
On the inside of the card I added a few of the left over Easy Strips and Conversation Candy along with a sentiment from Mini Strips – Valentine.

My last card features a gorgeous new stencil, Forever Love and the coordinating dies. I stenciled the heart on Sugar Cube with Fruit Punch ink blending from dark on the edges to lighter in the center. I die cut the hear with just the outline die from the coordinating die set. I then die cut the coordinating die from red foil cardstock and added just the dots to the stencil. I inked the edges of a piece of Sea Salt cardstock with Oyster ink and layered on two of the layers of the Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate cut from Sea Salt. I added a simple sentiment from Mini Strips – Valentine and the outside was done.
On the inside I added another sentiment from Mini Strips – Valentine and three of the foil hearts from the Forever Love die.
