One Love

I very rarely get a chance to play MojoMonday these days and sometimes there’s a sketch that I really want to use but don’t have time so I file it away and try to come back to it later. Mojo180 was one of those sketches.

Mojo 180 Sketch

I also knew I had a pretty big project coming up (18 bridal shower invitations) that I needed to get a jump on and I was struggling with it a bit because it wasn’t really my normal style. I know, I know, my ‘normal’ style fluctuates a LOT. But I really don’t every do anything shabby vintage and I needed to for this project so I went looking for some inspiration and I struck gold in this gorgeous card by Amy Sheffer and luckily she used the Mojo sketch too! I asked Amy if I could CASE her project and she very graciously said yes and I came up with this:

I looked and looked for paper that would fit what I needed and I finally found it at Hobby Lobby. I’m not sure what the brand is. We wanted something that was shabby/vintage but would fit the bride’s colors of dark blue and yellow. Jackpot! I found that gorgeous lace at Joann’s at the cutting counter. I wish I had more of it because it’s AMAZING. The stamps are a combination of Verve’s Forever in Our Heart’s and Love Story.

Here’s a peak at some of the details and the inside.

Whew! That was a LOT of cards. 🙂 Thankfully I had some really good help to get them made!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a card from By Lori Designs!
