Paper Pretties November Release Blog Hop!

For this hop Heather sent me the GORGEOUS Best Friends stamp set. It is toooo cute and a great deal! You get one gorgeous image drawn by Victoria Case and 6 sentiments that can be mixed and matched to say just the right thing. My daughter fell in love with it the moment she saw it and INSISTED that I stamp her some so she could make a couple of cards. Once I got a chance to ink some up for myself 😉 this is what I came up with:
I stamped the image onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I was REALLY impressed with the quality of the image and stamp. It stamped perfect the first time and all the other times I used it for my daughter. I colored the image with Prismacolors and OMS to coordinate with Cosmo Crickets Mitten Weather designer paper. Once I got everything laid out just right I sponged everything with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and a little bit of Pale Lilac Memento Ink.
