Pops of Color Week
Hi all! I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday! I have a card to share with you today for Taylored Expressions Pops of Color Week. I was so excited to start this project because it allowed me to use some products that I’ve had sitting on my desk still in their packages waiting to be used! And the extra fun thing about this week is most of the products you’ll see the design team using this week are on sale!
To make my card I started by inking the edges of an A2 Earl Grey piece of cardstock with Earl Grey and a tiny bit of Poppy Seed ink. The cardstock was splattered with Isopropyl Alcohol to achieve the lighter splatters then stamped with Just Vine background in Poppy Seed ink. The inner panel was die cut with A2 Layer Stacklets and popped up on foam tape. The flowers were stamped using Versafine Clair – Nocturn ink and embossed with clear embossing powder then die cut with the coordinating dies. I chose to leave these uncolored to fit the pop of color theme. The butterflies were stamped on Sugar Cube using Pink Champagne and Rose Water ink with Versafine Clair Nocturn for the bodies. Mini Strips Hello – Add-ons made the perfect sentiment combo with a few Bits & Pieces Pearl Drip Drops for accent.
