Rainbows EVERYWHERE!
Hi everyone! Today Taylored Expressions is releasing the elements of the Rainbow Kit along with some additional rainbow goodies! You’re going to LOVE this! I have three new projects to share with you today using the old and the new.
My first card use the Over the Rainbow dies and the Rainbow Cloud Duo dies. This card was super quick to make and would be very easy to mass produce.
I started my card by creating an A2 Sugar Cube cardbase. I cut a second piece of Sugar Cube and cut it down slightly smaller and added a sliver of Rainbow Brights 6×6 Paper Pack paper to the bottom. I then used the small Masking Stencils – Rectangle and blended Pineapple ink in the rectangle. I layered the hearts stencil from the Puppy Love Layered Stencil over the top and blended more Pineapple on top.
For the rainbow I die cut the Over the Rainbow die from Lime Zest, blue Raspberry, Lollipop and Pineapple cardstock (this is enough for 4 rainbows so you could make 4 versions of this card! YAY!). The clouds are cut from glitter felt from Taylor’s felt collection using the Rainbow Cloud Duo dies.
For the sentiment I stamped Building Blocks – Be Bright on Oreo cardstock with Versamark (use a powder tool first to help get a clean stamp and clean embossing) and embossed with white embossing powder. Die cut with the Building Blocks die then attached with foam tape.
My second set of cards are 3×3″ notecards using a new stamp set – Brighter Skies and the Bracket Notecard dies. These are so quick to put together and would be great as lunchbox notes, gift tags, thank you notes or just a quick note to a friend.
For this set I colored all of the image from the Brighter Skies stamp (on Sugar Cube using Oreo ink and Copic Markers) and die cut with the coordinating dies.
For the backgrounds I used the smallest Masking Stencil – Square to ink coordinating ink colors on the notecards, I also added a second layer for stenciling with a shape stencil that coordinates with the images. (See the supply list below for ink colors, cardstock colors and stencils.)
I used different sentiments from Building Blocks – Be Brighter (left overs from the card above!) and attached them with foam tape. These were very quick to make and I just love them!
