Saturday at the BEACH!!
It’s Saturday Sketch time and today we have a fun Greeting Farm PREVIEW for you that is sure to warm you up and get you ready for some summer weather. I know I could use some right about now. 🙂
Alright lets get going! Here’s out sketch for this week:

I had a little trouble photographing this. The orange didn’t want to play nice, lol, so everything is a little on the pinkish side but it’s pretty close. I used Prismacolors to color Cheeky Beach and used some fun summery paper from We R Memory Keeper’s. I made the flower using the Alteration’s flower die and I embossed the background papers using Cuttlebug Embossing folders. The ric-rac is the jumbo ric-rac die from MFT. I sponged everything with a bit of Walnut Stain Distress Ink to give it a little definition.
I did a little experiementing with my coloring this week, working on adding some depth to the shadows. For some reason it didn’t photograph as smooth as it is in person. It’s definitely not that purple in the shadow areas, lol. I’m gonna keep working on it. 🙂
