Sending Smiles!
Hi everyone! I’m popping in to share some fun new products from Taylored Expressions that will jazz up your envelopes and give your cards a little extra something when you drop them in the mail.
TE is introducing 3 new envelope-themed stamp sets in their Sending Smiles release, three new envelope seals (these are SO CUTE), and new TE washi tape! On my projects today I made a set of matching cards and envelopes using the Bokeh stencils (both circles and stars) along with the new envelope stamps. I LOVE stenciling on envelopes. It think it’s a quick way to create a wow coordinating envelope and these new stamps are a great way to finish them off!
On the first envelope and card I used the Bokeh Circles stencil in a rainbow of colors (see below for inks). Then I added some stamping using the Share Joy and Handmade with Heart stamps along with a bit of TE Washi Tape to seal the envelope.
The second set features the Bokeh Layering Stencils – Stars in the same manner as the circles. On the back of the envelope, I stenciled ink and stamped it with the Share Joy stamp set.
The cards that coordinate with the envelopes were created using the bokeh stencils. Instead of centering the stencil on my cardstock I stenciled the top and bottom edges of the paper with the stencils. I used the same colors in the same spots on each layer of the stencil, I just varied how much ink I applied each time. After stenciling was complete I splattered with Copic Opaque White and Oreo Reinker for extra flair. The sentiments are from Oh Yes You Did and the Share Joy stamp set.
