Simply Betty Design Team Divas 2

AliciaDTDivaJen2Today is the second preview of Simply Betty’s Design Team Diva digital stamps release (the images are available tomorrow!). Today I am previewing Alicia. Alicia is looking super stylish and hauling around her Cricut Die Cut machine. 😀

For my card I used SFYTT‘s current sketch by Jen del Muro. Her sketch this week is awesome and I’m filing it away for future use cause I just loved it and I think it would look amazing as a square too (and if you haven’t noticed… I like square cards, lol).

To make this card I used Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety paper and some red and green Bazzill card stock (I am sooo horrible at looking at the names and writing them down) as well as PTI white cardstock. I colored Alicia with Copics and then cut her out with a rectangle Nestabilities label and sponged the edges with Barn Door Distress Ink. I added another layer of red by tracing around the outside edge of the die with a pencil onto the red cardstock and hand cutting it since I don’t have both sizes of the rectangle dies. Next I cut the white and red circles for the sentiment, sponged it with Barn Door and stamped the sentiment on with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I finished it up with 4 K&Co green rhinestones (and changed the sketch just a smidge) and a bit of faux stitching with piercing on the edges.
