Smile

Smile, handmade card by Jen Shults, The Stamp Market

I don’t very often get a chance to make cards just for me and when I do I’ll have to admit I struggle to get started. With this particular card I knew I wanted to watercolor so I found this gorgeous stamp from The Stamp Market and stamped it a few times to fill a sheet of watercolor paper, heat embossed it in white and got to work. I used Taylored Expressions Liquid Watercolors to paint with and just sort of got lost in painting – which is how it’s supposed to be in my opinion, lol. When it was all done I wanted to keep the watercolor the star so I kept it all clean and simple with the Smile die (which coordinates with the Smile stamp in the stamp set) and a little strip sentiment underneath.
