Smiles and LoveFest

It’s still LoveFest time over at Splitcoaststampers! If you haven’t had a chance to join in there is still time! Taylored Expressions is sponsoring one of the challenges and all you need to do is add a little doodling to one of your cards. It could be as simple as a little frame around one element or as elaborate as a Zentangled background. I love this challenge so much I had to make a second sample! (Don’t be surprised if I make a 3rd and 4th too!)

For my card I used a white gel pen to doodle the pink card stock. I love how subtle this turned out. I stamped the sentiment on white and then die cut it with the Label Stacklets 6 from Taylored Expressions. I doodled inside the frame with a black multiliner and matted with a black mat cut with the same Stacklets. The flower cluster was made using Fancy Buckles, Friendship Blooms and the Mini Leaves Dies from Taylored Expressions. I topped that with two buttons and a bit of twine. That’s it! Super fast and quick to put together once the doodling was done!
