So Berry Sweet
Happy Monday!! Last night I FINALLY had time to make a card with my new stamp obsession… Wax Fruit Company. They are digi’s made by the amazingly talented and so super sweet Arielle Gordon and I just love them. I’ve been coloring like crazy. I really like her digis. They are realistic but soo soo cute and versatile that I just can’t stop coloring, lol. Arielle has a group for WFC over at Crafter’s Digital Art Center if you’d like to come join us. 🙂
This card is going to be a birthday card for my SIL. I’ve been so very blessed with amazing in laws and my SIL is no exception so I’ve been saving this image for her card.
The stamp I used it WFC Strawberry Bucket, it comes as a single stamp or as a set with other fruit. I used this month’s Sketch For You to Try (SFYTT) for the layout, though I modified it a little bit. I printed the image on PTI Stamper’s Select White and colored it with Prismacolors. I didn’t use any OMS this time, just the Prismacolor colorless blender pencil and a burnishing technique (I’m working up a tutorial on that). To match the image I used a bit of Thrift Shop paper from October Afternoon and a Cuttlebug argyle embossing folder. I popped the image up on foam tape, added a bit of twine and the sentiment that came along with the strawberry digi.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a card for Anita Be Stampin’ Challenge! Have a great Monday!
